Biography: Revathi Pillai
Revathi Pillai, Director, Software Engineering
Revathi Pillai leads Ambient’s software engineering team, and has held that post since 2008. Revathi is responsible for the development, quality assurance, release, and maintenance of all of Ambient’s internally developed software.
Revathi has more than 15 years experience in network engineering, design, and R&D in both established and startup companies. Prior to joining Ambient, Revathi worked for in the engineering departments of DEC, Lucent, Avaya, Bluenote Networks and TruePosition. Her background includes experience in power engineering, ATM networking, wireless infrastructure and VoIP.
Revathi holds a technology degree in Electrical Engineering from CET in India and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama. She has authored several technical papers, which have been published in the IEEE Journal and the Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology. Revathi has also been granted a patent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
